Danielle Frabutt Garcia
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Danielle Frabutt Garcia currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she spends her time working for 3 major music organizations, and performs and teaches throughout the state.
Reaching the lives of many children and adults, Danielle has had a very successful flute studio in both Ohio and New Mexico for over 15 years. She is a lead teacher with the New Mexico Philharmonic’s Young Musician Initiative of which she was part of the original pilot program. Danielle has performed with the New Mexico Philharmonic, Music at St. John’s UMC Bach Project, Quintessence: Choral Artists of the Southwest, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival—Music in Our Schools series, Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra, the Santa Fe Symphony, and the American Wind Symphony Orchestra, where she was a featured piccolo soloist in 2007. She has performed a variety of solo and lecture recitals and was part of the Bergamo Festival of Arts in Bergamo, Italy, as a soloist and masterclass instructor in 2010.
In Music Administration, Danielle is the Artistic Manager and Social Media Coordinator of the New Mexico Philharmonic, and Executive Director of Quintessence: Choral Artists of the Southwest, as well as the Director of Operations for the Olga Kern International Piano Competition. With her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance, Danielle wholeheartedly believes in the accessibility of music to others in the form of performance and education as a means to social connection and development.
