Stanislav Korchagin
Stanislav Korchagin began his concert activity at the age of 13.
Since 2011, he has been studying with Tatiana Zelikman, who raised several generations of great musicians including Daniil Trifonov, Konstantin Lifshits, Alexei Volodin, Ivan Rudin, Konstantin Shamray, and many others. Stanislav is a graduate of the Chopin Moscow State College of Music Performance in Russia, and since 2015 has been studying at the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music.
Stanislav is a prizewinner of numerous piano competitions including the Prokofiev Moscow Region Open Piano Competition (2011, Winner Diploma), Moscow Music Festival “Virtuoso” (2013, Winner Diploma), and the VII International Piano Competition in memoriam of Vera Lotar Shevchenko (2018, Finalist Diploma).
Stanislav Korchagin performed solo and chamber music recitals in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yaroslavl, including the Great Hall of Tchaikovsky at the Moscow State Conservatory, the Moscow International House of Music, the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, the Concert Hall of the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic, the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music, and the Center of Pavel Slobodkin.
Stanislav also performed solo concerts with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic, and the Donetsk Symphony Orchestra. In 2016, Stanislav participated in the festival “Faces of Modern Pianism” with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2020, he perfomed in the Kawai concert series in Dusseldorf, Kremfeld, and Landenberg, Germany.
