In the real estate sector, Art works closely with his wife and business partner, Sonya Priestly, on major commercial development projects throughout Albuquerque. Sonya is a community leader in her own right, serving as past President of the United Way of Central New Mexico, a board member of the San Francisco Opera, and a member of the UNM Anderson School of Management Advisory Board. She is also the incoming Chair of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque. Their shared commitment to philanthropy led to the creation of the Priestly Gardenswartz United Way Impact Fund, which supports strong, resilient communities across New Mexico.
