2025 Third Olga Kern International Piano Competition Awards & Prizes
The awards for the 2025 Fourth Olga Kern International Piano Competition include more than $40,000 in cash prizes. The first-prize winner will be awarded international concert engagements throughout the US and Europe and a professional recording.
The 2025 Fourth Olga Kern International Piano Competition will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, from October 12 through October 19, 2025. The announcement of winners will occur at the end of the Competition week. The Olga Kern International Piano Competition will award the following prizes and perks to the winners of the 2025 Competition:
First Prize
$20,000
In addition to the cash prize, the Olga Kern International Piano Competition will provide multiple concert engagements through the end of 2028, a professionally produced recording released on the Steinway & Sons label and three years of artist management following the competition provided by the Competition.

To help make participation more accessible, the Olga Kern International Piano Competition will provide:
$200 travel stipend for U.S.-based contestants
$400 travel stipend for international contestants
Free lodging with local host families, many of whom provide meals and warm hospitality
