Ruben Kozin
Ruben Kozin was born in Moscow in 1997.
When he was 5 years old, he entered the local music school and at the age of 12, Ruben he joined the Central Music School at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, where he studied piano with Professor Natalia Trull.
Ruben graduated from Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2020. In Russia, Ruben has performed at prestigious venues such as the Great and the Small Rachmaninov Halls of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Concert Hall of the Russian State Gnessin Academy of Music, the Moscow International House of Music, and the Concert Hall of the Moscow Museum of Musical Culture. Ruben performed internationaly in Croatia, Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Malta, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Armenia, and Belarus. He is the recipient of many awards in national and international competitions, including Third Prize at the 2016 International Piano Competition FVG in Sacile, Italy, and the Andre Dumortier International Piano Competition in Leuze-en-Hainaut, Belgium. In 2017, Ruben was the Second Prize winner at the Malta International Piano Competition, the First International Eurasian Music Games in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the VIII International Piano Competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Ruben Kozin has a vast repertoire that includes more than 15 piano concertos from different periods. Ruben took part in the master classes of renowned pianists such as Akiko Ebi, Ronan O’Hora, Youngho Kim, Jenny Zaharieva, Eugen Indjic, Andrea Bonatta, Kevin Kenner, Pascal Nemirovski, and Vanessa Latarche. Ruben has appeared as a soloist with the Central Music School at Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory Orchestra, the Rostov Academic Symphony Orchestra, and the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia.
