Gregory Martin
American-born pianist Gregory Martin’s life in music has been filled with performance opportunities throughout the globe.
His primary pedagogical studies were as a young pianist in Moscow, Russia. This opportunity served to ignite his passion for Russian, German, and Polish music and offered him the opportunity to perform internationally from a young age.
From the age of 7, Gregory studied with Dr. Tatiana Vetrinskaya at the New Mexico School of Music. While in Russia, Gregory studied with Mikhail Voskresensky, Irina Plotnikova, and Andrei Diev. Currently, he studies under Robert Roux at Rice University in Houston, TX. Gregory is a prize winner of many competitions around the globe including Grand prize in the Jackie McGehee concerto competition. Examples of a few of his performances with symphony orchestras include the likes of the, Fort Worth, New Mexico, and the Moscow City Symphony orchestras. Gregory’s main goal is to bring peace, to unite, and inspire people world-wide through his music performances.
